Judith Pierson grew up watching the moon shine above the pastures and fields of Iowa Farmland. She has since watched the same moon while living on both coasts and in several states in between. She is a writer, editor, and college instructor and the mother of three children
Karen Stormer Brooks has been a graphic designer and illustrator for a number of years, with her work appearing in many children's publications. She watches the moon with her husband and two children in Atlanta, Georgia except when, as her son claims, the moon is "just stuck on the other side of the world".
